ADMISSION POLICY

Admission to various classes starts at the beginning of the academic session in March/April every year. Admission tests are held in Feb and Apr followed by an interview.

Age Limits:

The student should complete the under mentioned year of age on 31 Mar of the year in which admission is sought as given against each class :-

Class V    : 9 years
Class VI   : 10 years
Class VII  : 11 years
Class VIII : 12 years
Class IX   : 13 years
Class X    : 14 years
Class XI   : 15 years
Class XII  : 16 years

Entrance Tests for Classes V to X :

For admission to class V & VI the candidate has to appear for a test in English, Hindi, Mathematics, and General Awareness. Apart from above mentioned subjects, candidates seeking admission to class VII-X will be tested in the subject of Science and Social Science also. The syllabus for the same would be of the class deemed to have been cleared by the applicant (CBSE Syllabus)

Admission to XIth Class

The candidate must have obtained the grade shown above in overall assessment (FA & SAs) conducted throughout the year. Only original grades obtained by the candidate will be considered i.e. upgraded grades (grades with **) will not be considered. Meeting the eligibility criteria given above on account of minimum percentages/grades does not, however, guarantee admission. Admission will depend on relative merit & availability of seats. The candidates opting for Science/Commerce Stream may have to appear for the Aptitude Test, if required.
